Gorgeous large retro opal and diamond domed swirl earrings. These earrings feature a stunning domed design with a large black opal in center surrounded with a diamond swirl pattern. These earrings are covered with diamonds, opal and milgrain work throughout so they sparkle with even the slightest movement. There is a slight patina in the grooves and edges around the design, which highlights the swirl design even more. These earrings are set with 1.06CTS of round brilliant cut natural diamonds and two opals adding up to 2.39CTS.
The natural opals have a desirable greenish black color with red, yellow, orange, peacock green, cobalt blue and neon green color play throughout. The color play extends to even the underside of the opals. Both opals have a matching greenish black color. One of the opals has a more yellow / orange / green color play and the other has a yellow / red / green color play. These are natural earth mined opals. No doublet, no triplet, no glass. The opals look perfect to the naked eye. Natural imperfections can be seen under 10X loupe. The high quality natural diamonds and gems are set into solid heavy 18K white gold.
